USA Track & Field Certified Running Coach, Alexandra Champ has been running races for 20 years. She comes from a lifelong background in sports, including lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, tennis, cross country/track, adventure racing, gymnastics, and skiing. After playing Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania, Alex moved to NYC, where she began to run many road races, training with the New York Road Runner's club and the New York Athletic Club. Learn to RUN, LLC was founded in Tenafly, NJ in 2010 as a way to help other runners and athletes improve their form, speed and endurance.

 

Alexandra is the Head Cross Country Coach at Dwight-Englewood HS in Englewood, NJ. She is also the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Northern Valley Demarest High School. In addition, she is part-owner and teacher at Jumping Frog: A Center for Fitness in Tenafly, NJ. Alex was a Run Ambassador at lululemon athletica and has been mentioned as one of Bergen County's foremost fitness coaches in Bergen Mama for the past four years. Her motto is: In order to gain fitness and improve, you must "be comfortable with being uncomfortable." Alex lives in Demarest, NJ with her husband and three sons.
